Job Title:
Quality Control Laboratory Technician Job Description The core function of this role is to test manufactured product batches and approve or release batches. This includes collecting powder samples, blending and diluting samples, running tests, entering results into systems or forms, and independently identifying out-of-specifications. Responsibilities Test manufactured product batches and approve or release them. Collect powder samples, blend and dilute samples, and run necessary tests. Enter test results into systems or forms accurately. Approve batches if they meet specifications and independently identify out-of-specifications. Conduct primary tests such as viscosity, refractive index, and particle size analysis using a particle size analyzer, though not for every batch or product. Essential Skills Minimum of 2 years of quality control laboratory experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in quality control procedures and laboratory practices. Basic computer skills. Strong understanding of chemistry and viscosity testing. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in specific testing methods is a plus. Bachelor's degree in a scientific field with at least one year of testing experience will be considered. Work Environment This position requires full-time on-site work from Monday to Friday with a schedule of either 6am-2:30pm or 9am-5:30pm, depending on production needs. There may be overtime hours during peak seasons such as summer. The role is set in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, involving work in production areas with fast-moving equipment, moderate to high noise levels, and varying temperatures. Candidates must be able to stand for extended periods when necessary. Additional benefits include eligibility for medical, dental, vision benefits, and a 401K plan. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
