We are located in the south of market in San Francisco, CA, and operate in a 2,300 square foot facility. As a commercial laboratory, our goal is to provide dependable, and accurate analytical services tailored to the individual needs of our clients and their projects. Cel Analytical is a California ELAP Certified Laboratory (ELAP #2647), a Member of the US EPA Environmental Response Laboratory Network (ERLN), and holds a CDC import permit for pathogen testing. We are currently accepting applications for the following position Microbiology Analyst II Applicants must possess at minimum a BS or BA in the biological sciences or a related field. Ideal candidates should possess the following skills and abilities: Strong attention to detail Proficiency with data entry and computer applications Multitasking capability Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Self-motivation Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory Experience with culture manipulation

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and log samples in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
• Process environmental samples for bacteria, bacteriophage, viruses per established SOPs.
• Participate in daily quality control monitoring
• Data entry into LIMs
• Assist in administrative aspect of the laboratory such as ordering supplies and or/shipping sampling supplies to client.
