We have assembled the most exceptional wireless hardware design team globally, and we are seeking a skilled Cellular System Integration Lab Technician for our rapidly expanding lab facilities. Our team is responsible for all aspects of 5G NR cellular silicon development, with a particular focus on highly integrated and efficient designs and technologies that enhance the user experience at the product level.

As a Cellular System Integration Lab Technician, you will be at the forefront of the RF transceiver validation effort within a team responsible for designing and productizing state-of-the-art RF cellular communication devices up to 50GHz. In this role, you will support System Integration Lab activities for PCB rework, prototyping, and testing. Additionally, you will manage daily lab operations, including asset tracking, equipment calibration and repair, bench and rack assembly, and lab construction and modification. Description The most suitable candidates will be responsible for overseeing the management of all laboratory components inventory, as well as the reworking of evaluation boards utilized by the Cellular System Integration team. These boards are utilized across various cellular projects, including assisting in the construction and testing of these setups. Additionally, the candidate will be assisting in ordering laboratory parts and shipping and receiving of various hardware's. Responsibilities PCB rework down to very small component size 01005, BGA fine pitch chipset package. Initial board level bring up prior to system integration. Bench calibration including RF cable, RF components, setup calibration, data collection. Assist in the preparation of setup components and the construction of specific setup configurations. Maintain an inventory of all evaluation boards utilized in Cellular Projects. Maintain an inventory of all laboratory components utilized in our system-level bring-up process. Minimum Qualifications 8+ year minimum related experience required. Good laboratory-related tasks. Expertise in PCB rework, including packages as small as 1005 and BGA. Responsible for managing laboratory inventory and conducting equipment audits. Preferred Qualifications 10+ years of experience in laboratory-related tasks. Good computer skills using spreadsheets and creating rework instruction documentations. Familiar with test equipment's used within the cellular industry (VNA, Oscilloscope). Familiar with RF component products. Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $35.31 and $75.48/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
