Role:
Join our team as a Registered Polysomnography Technician at
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA PULMONARY AND
Sleep in Thousand Oaks, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the field of sleep medicine while working with a dedicated team of professionals.
Responsibilities:
Conduct sleep studies and monitor patients throughout the night. Prepare and calibrate polysomnography equipment for accurate data collection. Analyze sleep data and provide detailed reports to physicians. Educate patients about the testing process. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with regulations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans. Stay updated on the latest advancements in sleep technology.
Requirements:
Current Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT) certification. Experience in performing PSG's, CPAP titrations and MSLT's Preferably scoring on the fly Knowledge of Cadwell computer system, preferable Excellent communication and patient care skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and an occasional weekend. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills. CPR certification preferred.
