Our multidisciplinary team combines machine learning, computational biology, and high-throughput experimentation to create novel molecules with applications across biotechnology and human health. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Associate to join our laboratory team. This entry-level position provides an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career scientists to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative research environment. The Research Associate will support ongoing research projects through laboratory experimentation, data collection, documentation, and general laboratory operations while working closely with scientists and research staff. Key Responsibilities Perform routine laboratory techniques and experiments following established protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Prepare reagents, buffers, samples, and laboratory materials needed for research activities. Accurately collect, record, and maintain experimental data in laboratory notebooks and electronic systems. Support laboratory organization, equipment maintenance, calibration, and inventory management. Ensure compliance with laboratory safety guidelines, regulatory requirements, and quality standards. Participate in team meetings and provide updates on assigned projects and experimental results. Assist in troubleshooting experimental procedures under the guidance of senior laboratory personnel. Assist with data analysis, interpretation, and preparation of research reports and presentations. Contribute to the preparation of technical documents, protocols, and scientific publications as needed. Perform other laboratory-related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Sciences, or a related scientific field. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to accurately follow protocols and maintain thorough documentation. Basic understanding of laboratory safety and good laboratory practices (GLP). Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications Previous laboratory experience through coursework, internships, undergraduate research, or industry experience. Familiarity with common laboratory techniques, such as: Pipetting and sample preparation Sterile cell culture PCR and molecular biology techniques Protein expression and assay development NGS sequencing Data analysis Experience maintaining laboratory records and documentation.
