Position Overview :
This is a learning position to develop professional skills and gain experience in a clinical andrology/endocrine laboratory with the goal of achieving proficiency in the performance of andrology/endocrine laboratory services in accordance with Illume Fertility's Protocol Manuals. This position also includes laboratory administrative responsibilities.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Participate in laboratory operations and laboratory services as directed by supervisor to develop proficiency in all required areas. Perform semen analysis to include sperm count, sperm motility, sperm morphology, viability, and anti-sperm antibody testing. Perform routine sperm preps for inseminations and cryopreservation. Assist the physician in exam rooms with inseminations. Maintain accurate, current cryopreservation records. Other duties as needed.
Education & Qualifications:
Associates or bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences or Medical Technology. Adequate computer skills. Intermediate to advanced knowledge in ARTworks, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, outlook and PowerPoint is necessary.
Immunization:
Staff member must meet immunizations requirements as stated in the Illume Fertility immunization policy. TB inoculation Flu vaccine Others as they become required
