Job Description
The Lab Technician is responsible for performing quality control testing and inspection of raw materials and finished products in an Acrylic manufacturing facility. This role supports production operations by ensuring materials and products meet internal specifications and customer requirements. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Operate laboratory testing equipment and computerized/electronic devices used in quality control and technical services. Perform routine calibration of laboratory instruments following documented procedures. Conduct inspections and testing on in-process and finished products. Record, analyze, and report test data with accuracy and attention to detail. Follow all documented testing and inspection procedures to ensure consistent product evaluation. Provide timely feedback to Quality Management regarding product quality issues or trends. Maintain compliance with all Safety, Health, and Environmental guidelines. Follow company operating procedures, policies, and benefit rules. Keep the laboratory and work area clean, organized, and audit-ready. Perform calibration processes on equipment. Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) preferred. RequirementsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma; relevant college coursework preferred. 2+ years of laboratory or testing experience in a production or manufacturing environment (Experience in a chemical laboratory is preferred). Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience with calibration equipment preferred. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stamford, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
