Any Description Description GI Alliance is seeking an experienced Laboratory Aide. Duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Position purpose The Laboratory Aid is responsible for assisting staff with answering telephone calls, daily maintenance and data entry and filing.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks :
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Document scanning Data collection Specimen receiving Data entry File slides, block and paperwork in alpha-numeric order Equipment quality control Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications Qualifications Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience:
One (1) year experience in laboratory setting preferred.

Must be reliable Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently Ability to pay close attention to detail Ability to compile data Ability to follow instructions/procedures Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers Ability to perform work activities in a team environment with open communication. Ability to maintain attention to detail and concentrate for extended periods of time. Ability to function in a fast-paced environment while under substantial time pressures and still maintain quality patient care Proficient technical (computer) skills.
