Job Summary and Qualifications A Sleep Disorders Lab Technician performs routine polysomnographic testing for the purpose of diagnosis and therapeutic analysis of sleep disorders under the supervision of the Sleep Lab Manager. You must possess sound knowledge of polysomnographic recordings and respiratory disorders associated with sleep. Be responsible for setting up equipment, instructing and monitoring patients and administering oxygen, CPAP and ventilatory assist devices in accordance with established protocols. C alibrate, ma intain , and clean all monitoring and recording equipment. R ecognize sleep pathology when it occurs, making a notation on record, and responding with appropriate interventions to ensure patient safety. O rder and stock supplies for the sleep lab.
