Job Summary Startup Cannabis and Hemp testing laboratory is looking for analysts and technicians in chemistry and Microbiology departments. Responsibilities and Duties The Analysts duties shall include but are not limited to: Prepare solutions, standards, and reagents to conduct analysis. Analyze samples for inorganic or organic compounds utilizing chromatography, spectroscopy, spectrophotometry, or other instrument techniques as needed. Perform routine laboratory testing tasks using standard laboratory equipment such as balances, pipettes, pH meters, etc. Maintain accurate and complete records, including logbooks. Perform initial data review. Utilize good laboratory practices. Follow AccuScience laboratories SOPs when conducting analyses. Enter or upload results into LIMS system. Qualifications and Skills Working toward college diploma. College diploma preferred; science major preferred. All applicants applying for cannabis and Hemp testing lab must be 21 years of age or older. All applicants applying for cannabis and Hemp testing lab must be able to passed the level 2 background screening pursuant to section 435.04, F.S., and have not been found guilty of, or entered a plea of guilty or nolo contendere to, regardless of adjudication, any offense listed in chapters 837, 895, or 896, F.S., or similar law of another jurisdiction.
