QC BPW Lab Hialeah, FL Job Details Full-time From $24.30 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Biology Food processing plant Manufacturing facility Attention to detail Quality audits Full Job Description Quality Control Specialist Responsibilities Perform incoming inspection of raw materials, packaging materials, in-process products, and finished goods. Control and monitor critical production steps to ensure product quality, consistency, and compliance with GMP requirements. Conduct production line inspections to ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, and company quality standards. Verify product appearance, weight, labels, lot numbers, expiration dates, packaging integrity, and overall product quality. Collect production and laboratory samples and accurately complete QC documentation and inspection records. Perform basic laboratory testing and quality checks as required. Identify quality issues, non-conformances, and process deviations; communicate findings. Ensure compliance with GMP, sanitation requirements, and good manufacturing practices throughout the facility. Develop a strong understanding of the manufacturing process, production equipment, and critical process parameters. Monitor manufacturing operations, identify opportunities for process improvement, and recommend practical solutions to improve product quality, production efficiency, and consistency. Participate in investigations of quality issues, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor and verify compliance with Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), ensuring all manufacturing activities are performed according to approved procedures and product specifications. Review production records, batch documentation, and QC records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GMP requirements. Participate in internal audits, customer audits, regulatory inspections, and support audit readiness activities. Qualifications 1-2years of Quality Control experience in dietary supplements, food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or pet supplement manufacturing. Laboratory work experience is preferred. Knowledge of laboratory equipment and basic laboratory testing procedures is preferred. Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field is preferred but not required. Knowledge of GMP/cGMP regulations and quality control procedures. Understanding of manufacturing processes and production equipment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify process deviations and recommend improvements. Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Proficiency in English (written and verbal). Experience with ERP systems, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel We Are Looking For A proactive Quality Control Specialist who not only ensures product quality but also understands manufacturing processes, controls critical production steps, performs quality checks, supports laboratory testing, identifies opportunities for improvement, and contributes to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
