McIver Clinic has been a trusted leader in urological care in Jacksonville since 1921. With multiple locations throughout the greater Jacksonville area and more than 27 providers, we deliver compassionate, patient-centered care across the full spectrum of urology, from minimally invasive procedures to complex surgery and oncology. We are seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Medical Lab Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, follows established laboratory procedures, maintains accurate and timely specimen processing, and works collaboratively with providers and staff to support quality patient care in a fast-paced urology practice. Essential Job Functions Process and report urine cultures accurately and timely Follow safe work practices and comply with all applicable safety, health, and environmental regulations Maintain laboratory equipment in proper working order Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Protect patient confidentiality and maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Excellent organizational and time-management skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy 1-2 years of previous laboratory experience Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required Associate or bachelor's degree in medical laboratory technology preferred Previous laboratory experience required
