Baptist Health is currently looking for a Medical Laboratory Assistant II to join our Lab Outreach team at Baptist Medical Center . This is a day shift, Monday - Friday 7:30am - 12:00pm. Outpatient lab work and specimen collection services are available at several Baptist Health locations throughout Northeast Florida. As a Medical Laboratory Assistant II, you will be responsible for: Performing a variety of clerical and technical duties associated with the pre- and post-analytical handling of laboratory specimens and results. Communicating laboratory results and responds to specimen-related questions from physicians and various other caregivers. Collecting blood specimens for routine and special laboratory procedures. Utilizing computer functions.
