Must be enrolled in at least 6 credits. Must currently be meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), or a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA. Transient and Dual Enrollment students are in eligible for student employment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with chemical preparation, cleaning glassware, and setting up science laboratories. Maintain clean, organized, and spill-free work areas; report any chemistry lab-related issues to the lab manager. Keep classrooms and laboratory preparation areas clean and organized. Assist with maintaining inventory supplies and the proper use of first aid equipment.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Must have successfully completed both BSC 1010 and

CHM 1025.

Must be able to safely work with chemicals and maintain a clean work environment. Must be present, punctual, and able to perform the assigned duties. Must be physically able to bend carry, lift and climb as required. Must be able to follow and write instructions accurately and precisely. Must possess strong computer skills (email, Word, Excel, etc.) and be self-motivated. Must be able to work independently, professionally and demonstrate excellent communication skills This position requires a criminal background screening.
