Role:

The Lab Gross Assistant plays a crucial role in the health care services industry by ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of laboratory specimens. This position involves preparing and grossing specimens for further analysis, which is essential for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Responsibilities:

Receive and log specimens into the laboratory information system. Biopsy Prepare specimens for gross examination by following established protocols. Assist pathologists in the grossing process, ensuring accurate documentation. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations. Participate in quality control measures and assist in the training of new staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

AA or BA. Experience in a laboratory setting or relevant coursework in biological sciences.
