Lab Technician

We are Hiring Lab Technicians // Entry Level!! Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for new graduates to gain industry experience in a regulated laboratory environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory testing of blood glucose test strips and ensuring accuracy and precision in results. Responsibilities Perform laboratory testing of blood glucose test strips within environmental chambers. Prepare and process blood samples for testing. Manipulate and test hematocrit levels. Perform glucose spiking for testing accuracy and performance. Accurately document test results and observations per protocols. Operate and maintain basic laboratory instruments and equipment. Follow all laboratory safety, quality, and procedural guidelines. Essential Skills Laboratory techniques Wet chemistry Chemistry Biology Medical laboratory skills Titration Proficiency with pipettes and pipetting Experience with centrifuges Additional Skills & Qualifications Associate degree or coursework in Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Science, or related field (or equivalent lab experience). Previous experience working with blood samples preferred. Familiarity with basic laboratory techniques and instrumentation. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures. Comfortable working in a regulated manufacturing/lab environment. Work Environment This role involves frequent trips between the laboratory and environmental chambers. The work schedule follows a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation, with shifts from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM OR 9 AM to 5 PM. Work involves using instruments such as centrifuges, pipettes, capillary tubes, and environmental chambers (5°C-40°C). Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Pompano Beach, FL.
