Job Description

Job Overview Family atmosphere orthotics lab is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Orthotics Lab Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for fabricating, modifying, and repairing custom orthotic devices that improve patient mobility and comfort. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes by ensuring the highest standards of craftsmanship, safety, and precision. This position offers an engaging environment where your technical skills and patient service abilities come together to make a meaningful difference in people's lives. The lab primarily operates Monday through Thursday. If you have not worked in a lab before, but you are good with your hands and are not afraid of large sanding, we will offer on the job training. Responsibilities Prepare and fabricate custom orthotic devices based on physician prescriptions and patient measurements. Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to interpret orders accurately. Perform modifications and repairs on existing orthotic devices to ensure optimal fit and function. Qualifications Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to orthotics. Basic proficiency in using tools, measuring devices, and computer software related to orthotics fabrication.
