Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Processor I to join our team in Tucker, GA.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:30pm-2:00am with rotating weekends and holidaysJob Responsibilities:
Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testingUnpack and route specimens to their respective staging areasAccurately identify and label specimensPack and ship specimens to proper testing facilitiesMeet department activity and production goalsProperly prepare and store excess specimen samplesData entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerResolve and document any problem specimensMinimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED or equivalentPreferred Qualifications:
1 year or more experience in lab, accessioning, production, manufacturing, or warehouseAdditional Job Standards:
Comfortable handling biological specimensAbility to accurately identify specimensExperience working in a team environmentStrong data entry and organizational skillsHigh level of attention to detailExperience with MS OfficeAble to lift up to 40lbs.Able to pass a standardized colorblindness testAre you organized, accountable, and have always gone the extra mile to make sure things are done right? Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
