Part-Time Specimen Processor-Nights

Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Processor I to join our team in Tucker, GA.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8:30pm-2:00am with rotating weekends and holidays

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testingUnpack and route specimens to their respective staging areasAccurately identify and label specimensPack and ship specimens to proper testing facilitiesMeet department activity and production goalsProperly prepare and store excess specimen samplesData entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerResolve and document any problem specimens

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

1 year or more experience in lab, accessioning, production, manufacturing, or warehouse

Additional Job Standards:

Comfortable handling biological specimensAbility to accurately identify specimensExperience working in a team environmentStrong data entry and organizational skillsHigh level of attention to detailExperience with MS OfficeAble to lift up to 40lbs.

The Specimen Accessioner will be responsible for performing clinical specimen accessioning, sample sorting and data entry in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment according to established standard operating procedures.
