Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field Current MLT certification (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent) Demonstrated proficiency in laboratory procedures and instrumentation At least one year of clinical lab experience preferred Strong attention to accuracy, detail, and safety protocols Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities:
Perform routine and complex laboratory tests in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, immunology, and microbiology Analyze specimens, record data, and report results within required turnaround times Calibrate, operate, and maintain laboratory equipment while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, and other lab techs to support patient care decisions Maintain detailed records and uphold confidentiality
