Job Description

OVERVIEW

Bluegrass, Iowa steel mill site is in need of a Lab Technician. This is a 2 to 3 month position.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and test steel samples Operate laboratory testing equipment and machinery Record and document test results accurately Perform basic equipment maintenance Follow safety and quality procedures Work rotating swing shifts

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. High school diploma or GED required. Associates or Bachelors degree with a science major such as chemistry is a plus. Strong attention to detail Basic computer skills Manufacturing, laboratory, or CNC experience is a plus Ability to interpret industry specifications (ASTM/EN/API/ABS/CSA)

WORK HOURS/SHIFT 12

hour swing shift weekends included Onsite presence required WAGE $25 BACKGROUND
