Job Description

Our client, a leader in the agricultural research industry, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the Johnston Sampling team supporting genotyping projects. The ideal candidate will have education or experience in science, demonstrate attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and strong collaboration skills.

Shift:
Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm What's the Job? Ensure all sampling materials are prepared properly, on time, and in a safe manner. Assist with miscellaneous tasks such as cleaning, handling, packaging, and storing seed or samples. Maintain compliance with regulatory and company requirements. Operate proprietary equipment used in sampling and processing. Identify opportunities for process improvements and help implement solutions. What's Needed? No prior experience required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. Ability to perform physical, repetitive tasks accurately and efficiently. Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols. Good time management skills to prioritize workload effectively. Willingness to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
