A Laboratory Technician performs routine tests on samples of body fluids, tissues, and other substances for diagnostic and research purposes. Works under the supervision of a medical laboratory technologist in a laboratory or healthcare facility.

As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the Johnston Sampling team supporting genotyping projects. The ideal candidate will have education or experience in science, demonstrate attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and strong collaboration skills.

Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm What's the Job? Ensure all sampling materials are prepared properly, on time, and in a safe manner. Assist with miscellaneous tasks such as cleaning, handling, packaging, and storing seed or samples. Maintain compliance with regulatory and company requirements. Operate proprietary equipment used in sampling and processing. Identify opportunities for process improvements and help implement solutions. What's Needed? No prior experience required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. Ability to perform physical, repetitive tasks accurately and efficiently.
