These jobs are performed during a given period of time, in emergency situations and on patients of all ages. Clerical and computer work is required. Perform, analyzes, interprets clinical laboratory testing in the following laboratory scientific disciplines: Blood Transfusion Services, Urinalysis, Chemistry, Microbiology, Hematology, Serology, Virology, Coagulation, and Immunology. Provides lab phlebotomy duties. The first FT position primarily works Monday-Friday 10am to 6:30pm, with every 4th weekend. .9 FTE The second FT position primarily works Monday- Thursday, 12:00pm to 9:30pm. .9 FTE VDMC offers a state of the art facility and competitive wages commensurate with experience. EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Associate of Arts Degree Successful completion of a formal Medical Laboratory Technician Program ASCP or NCA accredited or the registration form for the ASCP boards preferred, not required. Must have current Iowa Driver's License and must maintain a driving history acceptable to the Hospital's insurance carrier.
