Job Description

Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry, quality control, and laboratory procedures. Key responsibilities include routine analysis of soil, plant tissue and other agricultural samples using various lab equipment. Responsibilities
  • Conduct various laboratory tests and experiments following standard operating procedures
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and precision of test results
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration
  • Record and analyze data accurately using laboratory information management systems
  • Assist in the preparation of samples for analysis
  • Assist group leaders and analysists in ordering and inventorying consumables, chemicals, and parts for instrumentation Requirements
  • Computer skills are required ( Excel, Access, MS Word, MS Office Suite).
  • Self Starter, Organized, and Detail-Oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast paced team oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of previous experience working in a laboratory preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required in a related field such as Biology, Chemistry, or a relevant scientific discipline
  • Proficiency in math for data analysis and interpretation
  • ICP (AVIO 500s) experience
  • Experience working in a laboratory setting
  • Knowledge of laboratory procedures, systems, and equipment
