Salary:
FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $64,000 - $74,000 per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire's experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.
Your Responsibilities:
Within the OEM/Automotive Fluids R D group, we develop cutting-edge lubricants for a diverse range of vehicles-from everyday passenger cars to high-performance off-road racing machines. Beyond innovation, we provide critical technical expertise to our partners in Product Management, Sales, and Quality. Reporting to the R D Group Leader, the successful candidate will drive team success by formulating and testing next-generation automotive fluids. We are seeking a proactive, hands-on 'self-starter' who stays ahead of industry trends and fosters strong collaborative relationships across our Technical, Quality Control, and Operations departments.
Qualifications we are looking for:
Master in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or Bachelor with a minimum of two years' experience working in a technical role. A degree in Chemistry is preferred. Familiar with lab procedures and testing. Able to conduct hands-on laboratory experiments and tests in an organized and safe manner. Likes to work in the laboratory and thrives in a dynamic and demanding environment. Excellent record keeping and documenting skills, e.g., able to keep a well-organized lab notebook. Strong problem solving, interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Ability to organize and summarize results and present it to the technical group. Must be proficient with computers and Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook). Experience in Product development and product modifications is preferred.
