Position Purpose:

The purpose of this position is to support automotive performance fluid validation via analytical test methods to enable R D formulation development, along with quality control of existing fluids. The Lab Technician will be involved in preparing samples for analytical evaluation and supporting the quality team in analytical problem-solving for root cause analysis within manufacturing sites. They will be responsible for maintaining lab consumable supplies while promoting proper safety practices and good housekeeping.

Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities:

Checking and restocking consumable lab supplies Logging samples and updating materials database Calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment Sample preparation and basic analysis (washing, measuring, filtering, pH, etc.) Setting up and running samples on instruments including ICP, UV-Vis, HPLC, IC & GC-MS. Preparing technical reports for internal and external stakeholders, covering the validation of refined test methods and analytical investigations into quality concerns. Maintain good relations and communication with members of the team to promote a positive culture within the lab

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
