Job Summary The 3D Printing Lab Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of our 3D printing lab. This includes operating and maintaining printers, pulling and cleaning prints, managing inventory, and assembling finished products. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working with equipment, solving problems, and contributing to a fast-paced production environment. No prior 3D printing experience is required—we will train the right candidate. Key Responsibilities 3

D Printing Operations:

Operate and monitor 3D printers throughout the production cycle. Pull completed prints from machines and prepare them for post-processing. Clean, trim, and finish printed parts to meet quality standards. Load materials and prepare printers for new jobs.

Equipment Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance on all 3D printers to ensure consistent uptime and performance. Troubleshoot printer issues and perform basic repairs as needed. Keep the lab clean, organized, and operating efficiently.

Inventory Management:

Add completed parts to inventory and maintain accurate inventory records. Track material usage and alert the team when supplies need to be reordered. Organize and label finished parts and raw materials.

Assembly:

Assemble components and sub-assemblies according to work instructions and specifications. Inspect assembled products for quality and completeness. Collaborate with the team to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications:

Required:

Ability to work on-site 28 hours per week. Reliable transportation to and from the workplace. Hands-on, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working with tools and equipment. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset. Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain high quality standards. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 40 lbs.

Preferred:

Experience with 3D printers (FDM, SLA, or similar technologies). Experience in a manufacturing, production, or lab environment. Familiarity with basic hand tools and assembly processes. Interest in additive manufacturing and emerging technologies.

Pay:

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 28.0 per week
