JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for performing and evaluating overnight polysomnograms and other sleep related procedures and related functions as prescribed by a physician. This position requires providing services to one or more age populations, including adolescent through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals, and direction of the Performance Improvement Process (PIP) at Blessing Hospital.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training/Experience:
REQUIRED
High School Diploma required Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or equivalent is required
PREFERRED
Graduate of an accredited sleep program Or at least one year of experience working in a sleep lab preferred.
License/Certifications/Special Requirements:
Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysmnographic Technologist or equivalent

Non-exempt hourly
