Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Temporary Laboratory Technician to join their team and support their chemists in performing analytical testing. This role is ideal for college students looking to gain hands-on experience, recent graduates in Chemistry or Biology, or even retired professionals interested in re-entering the workforce on a temporary basis. In this position, you will be responsible for: Performing various tests, primarily using wet chemistry techniques, on water and deposit samples from boilers and cooling towers. Operating laboratory equipment (training will be provided). Generating analysis reports based on findings and sharing them with customers. Assisting with other laboratory functions as needed under the guidance of the head Chemist.

Requirements:

Some chemistry knowledge or laboratory experience (education or work-related). Strong computer skills to manage report generation and data entry. Ability to start immediately and work through the end of the year, with a possibility of extension depending on business growth.
