This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced laboratory professional looking to step into a leadership role while remaining hands-on with testing and quality assurance. Responsibilities Coordinate daily geotechnical laboratory operations and testing schedules Perform and oversee advanced soil, rock, aggregate, concrete, asphalt, and construction materials testing Ensure compliance with ASTM, AASHTO, and client specifications Mentor and train laboratory staff Review testing data, calculations, and laboratory reports Maintain laboratory quality systems, equipment calibration, and safety standards Work closely with engineers and project managers to meet project deadlines Qualifications Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Materials Testing, Geotechnical Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) Experience performing geotechnical laboratory testing Knowledge of ASTM and AASHTO testing standards Strong communication and organizational skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office; AutoCAD or soil logging software is a plus Valid driver's license with a good driving record
