Lab Assistant Electronics and Computer Technology, Part-time Tmp.

This position is a part-time, temporary position filled each semester on an as-needed basis. Maintain safe, orderly lab and environment; prepare lab samples; assist students with equipment operation and lab activities; maintain, set up, and repair lab equipment; assist faculty with setting up and calibrating tools; create procedures for proper operation of tools. Document activities and solutions to issues via email, written reports, etc. Lab equipment includes but is not limited to the following: microcontrollers, multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies, soldering irons, 3D printers, CNC milling machines, programmable logic controllers, Rockwell hardness tester, specimen mounting press, orbital polisher, polariscope, tensile tester, microscopes, and furnace.

Compensation:

$16.00 per hour Selected candidate for employment will be subject to pre-employment background checks, including criminal history check, and any offer of employment will be contingent upon that outcome.
