What is a Laboratory Technician?

This is 1st shift position. MP is looking for energetic and reliable individual who can multitask with previous industrial experience to join our team. Full benefit package and competitive wages. The laboratory technician will primarily build SMC and BMC materials for R D. In addition, this position will also be responsible for supporting the SMC3 production supervisor(s) for production batches made on SMC3. The laboratory technician will also be responsible for molding and testing in the R D laboratory, SMC machine and mixing operation, sampling raw materials from the plant, and organizing/maintaining these materials in the R D storage area.

Laboratory Technician:
High School Diploma/GEDAbility and experience handling a fork truckAbility to lift 50 lbs. consistently and handle 55-gallon drums on dollies and liftsMulti-task oriented, mechanically mindedEffective communication skills, including speaking, writing and understanding EnglishAbility to follow work instructions and proceduresComputer literacy and capable is preferredMath skills are requiredManufacturing or Batch making experience preferredWhy Join IP Corporation?
