    • F ul l-Time/Regular R es ponsible for performing tests on samples for purposes such as quantitative analysis, quality control, and process control as well as general maintenance of laboratory equipment and physical maintenance of the laboratory. Pri mary Duties and Responsibilities
    • R eiving, reviewing and understanding work orders for all received samples
    • P forming required analysis according to customer and industry standards and requirements
    • D umentation of each test result neatly and accurately
    • P paration of corresponding analytical reports
    • P forming quality assurance/ quality control testing and assisting with control charts
    • M ntaining laboratory instruments, equipment, and supplies
    • P form other related duties as required and assigned
    • S ety Sensitive position that requires pre-employment, random and annual drug and alcohol testing (including marijuana testing). R eq uired Skills
    • H h School Diploma, some college credits preferable
    • M t possess basic Computer, Mathematic, and Science skills
    • A lity to grasp new procedures and work independently upon completion of training
    • A lity to communicate effectively with employees, outside consultants, and management
    • T rough understanding of safety and training issues W or king Conditions Wo r k is primarily performed in a laboratory with occasional trip to collect or deliver samples The employee may be exp osed to fumes, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
    AmSpec Services provides product information, tra ining, engineering controls, and personal protective equipment in an effort to protect employees from exposure to pot entially harmful levels of those materials. Employees are required to read product information, use available eng ineering controls, follow guidelines presented during training, and be able to wear and use appropriate protective equ ipment, including respiratory protective equipment, as may be required by the work environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. P hy sical Requirements Pa s s a drug and alcohol test specified by AmSpec Pas s an annual Pulmonary Fitness and Respirator Fit Test Pas s a physical examination by a physician designated by AmSpec Services, both before employment and at any time dur ing employment upon request of AmSpec Services to confirm the Surveyor's ability to perform the essential job fun ctions of the position.
