Polysomnographic Technician - Polysomnographer (12H Night Shift) in City, State Ready to advance your sleep disorders specialty? Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time (per laws) Referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel reimbursements (where applicable) 24/7 support from dedicated VHS team What You'll Do Conduct sleep studies for outpatient, pediatric, and geriatric patients, including those with sleep apnea and other sleep disorders Prepare and fit positive airway pressure (PAP) masks and troubleshoot equipment Monitor and document patient sleep sessions, including vital signs and electrode placement Assist with basic patient care such as ambulation as needed Work independently during shifts, following established protocols and procedures Collaborate with the sleep team and support staff to ensure quality patient care
What You Need Required:
BLS, RPSGT or RRT-SDS certifications Louisiana state license At least 1 year of sleep study experience Comfort with pediatric and geriatric patient care Technical proficiency with sleep monitoring equipment and troubleshooting
Preferred:
Experience working independently during night shifts Ability to work in multiple clinic locations (Bossier and Pierremont) About the Assignment This role is based at a leading sleep center in City, State, providing outpatient sleep studies including PAP titrations, diagnostic sleep testing, and patient education. The team values independence, technical expertise, and compassionate patient interactions. The position offers a consistent schedule, minimal holiday work, and full support from the facility and VHS team.
