Extraction Technician

Resinate is looking for an independent, driven, detail-oriented candidate to work full-time in our laboratory at our Douglas facility. Candidates must have two years of extraction experience and be reliable and dependable, a team player with a good work ethic, be eager to learn, and open-minded. The Extraction Technician works in the lab, performing extraction/refinement, formulation, packaging & QC sampling/testing operations. Day to day, this technician will focus on the extraction & refinement of cannabis oil. They may also assist in packaging functions as well as conducting QC sampling, testing and/or analysis, and supporting R&D projects. The primary goal of this position will be to produce high-quality concentrates from cannabis. Due to cannabis industry regulations, all candidates must be at least 21 years old, receive background clearance, and must be legally eligible to work in the United States. We are looking for candidates that have a bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field, or equivalent industry experience. Physical requirements include consistent hand/eye coordination in a precise lab setting as well as standing for prolonged periods while performing repetitive tasks. Also required is the ability to work with fresh, dried and/or processed products without negative allergic consequences. The candidate must be able to lift, push, and pull material up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities are required for this job which include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
