Laboratory Technician I (Entry-Level)
Location:
Franklin, MA Shift:
Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:30

Biotechnology / Medical Device Manufacturing About the Role We are seeking an entry-level Laboratory Technician to join a growing biotechnology team responsible for producing high-quality medical products used by customers worldwide. This position offers hands-on experience in a cleanroom laboratory environment and is ideal for candidates with laboratory experience, biotech coursework, or a strong interest in manufacturing within the life sciences industry. Responsibilities Perform pipetting, sample preparation, and media preparation activities. Assist with the filling, packaging, and labeling of products, including operation of automated equipment. Follow established procedures to support production and laboratory operations. Work closely with Scientists and Technicians to complete routine laboratory tasks. Clean, wash, and maintain reusable laboratory materials and equipment. Support inventory management of packaging materials and replacement parts. Handle and dispose of chemical and biological waste in accordance with safety protocols. Maintain accurate production documentation, equipment logs, inspection records, and environmental monitoring records. Adhere to GMP, quality, and safety requirements at all times. Support quality system initiatives and continuous improvement activities. Assist with additional projects and cross-functional responsibilities as needed. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field preferred. Previous laboratory experience through coursework, internships, research, or industry experience is a plus. Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment is highly desirable. Familiarity with pipetting, sample preparation, buffer/media preparation, or other basic laboratory techniques. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
