Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Collect blood samples (venipuncture or capillary) following proper procedures Receive, label, and process specimens such as blood, urine, and other biological samples Ensure accurate patient identification and specimen documentation Prepare samples for testing, including centrifuging and aliquoting as required Maintain cleanliness and organization of lab equipment and work areas Follow safety protocols, infection control, and biohazard handling procedures Perform basic laboratory tests or assist lab technologists as needed Record and maintain accurate data in laboratory systems Monitor specimen integrity and report any issues or discrepancies

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology preferred) Experience in a clinical or laboratory setting preferred Knowledge of specimen handling and safety procedures Ability to follow detailed instructions and protocols
