Biology Job Summary:
A one-year, benefits-eligible position for an NIH-sponsored project on the molecular basis of neuronal regeneration in adult crickets.
Responsibilities include:
managing the day-to-day operation of the lab (e.g. ordering supplies and equipment, preparing solutions); collaborating with students; and participating significantly in research projects. The position will remain open until a suitable candidate is identified. The hourly range for this position is expected to be: $26.85-28.30/per hour

Education/Skills Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in biology or related field is required. Experience Requirements and/or
Equivalents:
Previous laboratory experience is required Organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and enthusiasm for biological research. Prior research experience in molecular or cellular biology and bioinformatics is preferable. Familiarity with neuroscience is helpful but not necessary. Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications in this posting to be considered for hire.
Standard Work Days and Hours:
32 hrs/week Monday - Friday (January 2015 - August 2019) (0.75 FTE) We regret that Bowdoin College is unable to provide visa sponsorship for staff positions.
