Lab Technician About Maine Laboratories:

Maine Laboratories is a startup analytical testing laboratory located in Norridgewock ME with a primary focus on PFAS testing. Our company was founded to help fill a gap in PFAS testing for the state of Maine supporting individuals, farmers, businesses and municipal water systems that need drinking water, well water and soil testing.

Job Summary:

You will be joining an exciting new small business. Your primary focus will be facilitating PFAS analysis using our Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) and Liquid Chromatography Mass Spec (LCMS/MS) among other equipment. Your attention to detail, documentation, data integrity and positive attitude will make this position a great fit.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Accept customer orders, build and ship sampling kits Accept samples and add them to the laboratory workflow through thorough documentation and storage Inventory supplies and materials regularly Send customer updates and answer customer questions as needed Prep samples for analysis using established protocols Participate in process improvement brainstorming and implementation

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, environmental sciences or related field
