Working Conditions HOURS:
To be scheduled by the department as needed but not exceed 4 hours per week. May be required to workdays, evenings or weekends as determined by the instructional schedule.

Reports to the Director of the Center for Health Careers; takes supervision from the Manager and EKG faculty.

None Description Benefits Job Function Perform various duties in support of EKG faculty with the lab activities. Job Responsibilities Assist instructor in preparing for classroom and laboratory sessions. Prepare equipment and consumables for lab courses and related areas. Set up, maintain and provide students with a clean and organized lab and classroom environment. This includes the movement and organization of lab equipment and supplies as requested. Ensure all equipment functions properly and safely. Provide support to instructors and students during practical evaluation sessions of required skills. Guidance of small student groups through various skills under the instruction of faculty. Oversee proper cleanup of lab spaces after classes. Assist in maintenance of various medical equipment. Assist with tracking supplies and maintaining proper inventory control. Assist with administrative tasks related to the Veterinary Assistant program. Perform other duties as assigned. Education High School completion required. Post-secondary certificate or degree desired. Qualifications Must demonstrate familiarity with operating an EKG machine, trouble shooting, restocking supplies, and setting up and cleaning up the lab areas. Must have at least 1 year of medical work experience.
