  • Contract Global Service Resources is looking for a contract Medical Laboratory Technician for a Tenet hospital in Detroit, Michigan.
Pay Rate:
$52 to $54/hr on W2 (Up to $2,160/week on W2!)
Schedule:
11PM to 7AM, Mon-Fri (40 hours/week)
Contract:
13 weeks with a high chance of extension
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience as a Medical Lab Tech in an inpatient/acute care hospital
  • Must have valid ASCP certification
  • BLS•Must not have been an employee of any Tenet/DMC hospitals in the last 12 months•Must pass background check and drug test
Some Duties Include:
  • Specimen Processing & Testing:
    Perform routine and complex qualitative/quantitative tests across specialized lab departments like chemistry, hematology, microbiology, or blood bank
  • Analysis & Quality Control:
    Analyze test results, review findings for accuracy, perform quality control checks on equipment, and prepare necessary testing reagents or solutions
  • Equipment Maintenance:
    Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain automated and computerized laboratory instrumentation
  • Data Management:
    Accurately enter and maintain test records within the laboratory computer systems and relay critical findings to physicians and nurses
Safety & Compliance:
Maintain a clean workspace and strict compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and accreditation or administrative lab policies and more Please note: Personal documents and references will be collected. You will not receive the same benefits as a direct employee of the facility. However, you will be able to sign up for Kaiser healthcare and Delta dental after 90 days of employment.
