Laboratory Cleaning Technician

Piper Companies is seeking a Laboratory Cleaning Technician to join a pharmaceutical company located in Lansing, Michigan through a temporary contract position. Responsibilities for the Laboratory Cleaning Technician include: Maintain a sterile, safe, and compliant lab environment by cleaning, disinfecting, and decontaminating equipment, glassware, and work areas. Operate autoclaves and cage washers, as well as oversee cleanroom conditions. Follow safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and GLP/GMP standards while keeping accurate documentation and cleaning records. Dispose of chemical and biological hazardous waste in a safe and compliant manner. Monitor and replenish inventory of cleaning supplies and laboratory consumables. Qualifications for the Laboratory Cleaning Technician include: Prior experience maintaining sterile environments is preferred, though not mandatory. Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds or more.
