Job Description

Piper Companies is currently looking for an experienced Laboratory Cleaning Technician in Lansing, Michigan (MI) to work for a growing pharmaceutical company. Responsibilities for the Laboratory Cleaning Technician include:
  • Ensure a sterile, safe, and compliant environment by cleaning, disinfecting, and decontaminating laboratory equipment, glassware, and workspaces.
  • Operate autoclaves, cage washers and manage cleanroom environments.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, OSHA standards, and GLP/GMP guidelines to maintain documentation and cleaning logs
  • Safely disposing of chemical and biological hazardous waste.
  • Maintain stock of cleaning supplies and laboratory consumables Qualifications for the Laboratory Cleaning Technician include:
  • Experience cleaning sterile environments preferred but not required
  • Must be able to lift 50 points
  • HS Diploma or equivalent required Compensation for the Laboratory Cleaning Technician include:
  • Hourly rate is $15.00 - $17.00/HR
