Laboratory Technician

Schedule:

13-week assignment Night shifts Unique rotation: 7 consecutive nights on, 7 nights off, followed by 4 ten-hour shifts (8:00 PM - 6:30 AM) and then 3 twelve-hour shifts (8:00 PM - 8:30 AM) 36-hour work week guarantee Every other weekend required No on-call duties

Qualifications:

Associate degree or higher in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field Certification as a Medical Lab Technician (ASCP or equivalent) Experience performing laboratory tests in clinical settings, following established procedures Familiarity with modern analyzers and laboratory information systems Strong attention to detail, time management, and accuracy Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with clinical staff Current immunizations and health screenings in compliance with facility protocols

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct a broad range of routine laboratory procedures, including hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, and immunology Prepare, analyze, and interpret samples ensuring quality and accuracy Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to meet regulatory and safety standards Record, verify, and report test results to appropriate medical personnel in a timely manner Uphold infection control and laboratory safety standards at all times Support daily workflow, supply management, and documentation compliance This opportunity is well-suited to detail-focused Lab Technicians who thrive in busy clinical environments and are committed to delivering reliable diagnostic information.
