Job Overview The Lab Technician plays an important role in the final steps of the compounding process. This position is responsible for encapsuling, labeling, packaging, inspecting, and preparing compounded medications for dispensing while ensuring that all products meet regulatory, quality, and company standards.
Job Responsibilities :
Accurately label and package finished compounded products, demonstrating pride in everything you do . Use and maintain lab equipment and technology to finish compounded medications with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement. Fill and inspect compounded capsules with attention to consistency, supporting our growth mindset and high-quality standards. Operate capsule-filling equipment in alignment with SOPs and collaborate with team members to foster a positive team spirit . Label, package, and document completed capsules for pharmacist verification. Perform process checks to ensure weight uniformity and visual inspections for appearance standards. Follow all SOPs and regulatory guidelines, including USP <795> and <800>, showing respect for all by maintaining a safe, compliant environment. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Communicate discrepancies, issues, or concerns to supervising pharmacists. Support other lab activities as needed, working your hardest to ensure team efficiency. Attributes & Skills Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy technician experience at MediVera Prior experience in a pharmacy, compounding lab, or related healthcare/ environment preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
