Job Description

Our client, a research-focused organization specializing in advanced material analysis, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the Laboratory Support Department supporting ongoing research projects. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and strong communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

    $18 to
  • $22 p/h on w-2
  • Duration
  • - 12 month contract
  • What's the Job?
  • + Generate and prepare laboratory samples for testing + Conduct material testing, including mechanical testing to evaluate material strength and performance + Operate laboratory testing equipment such as Instron or MTS systems to measure material properties (e.g., tensile strength and elongation before failure) + Collect, analyze, and document test data accurately
  • What's Needed?
  • + High school diploma required; a college degree is not necessary + Approximately 6 months to 1 year of laboratory experience preferred + Experience with laboratory testing, material testing, or mechanical testing is a plus + Comfortable working with basic chemistry concepts and laboratory safety practices + Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for data entry and analysis
