As a laboratory assistant you will be a member of a diverse, agile team responsible for biological specimen receipt, identification verification, processing and storage. In addition, you will perform a variety of clerical, processing, and other laboratory duties that include maintaining supply inventory, filing, stocking, receiving shipments, and cleaning. Science background preferred. 1-2 years medical experience preferred. Ability to stay organized, prioritize, and shift gears in a busy environment. Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing. Experienced with computers, keyboarding, and telephone operations.
