Full Job Description Description:
Dyne Fire Protection Labs is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for testing and reporting results for a variety of fire protection materials, including firefighting foam, antifreeze solutions, dry chemical agents, and fire sprinklers. The position offers a dynamic workweek, rotating between testing in the foam and fire sprinkler laboratories, with the opportunity to occasionally support internal research projects either independently or as part of a group. Perform routine analytical laboratory tests in accordance with established test procedures. Assist with laboratory administrative tasks as needed. Support internal research projects as assigned. Rotate among multiple workstations and assist with other duties as communicated by a supervisor.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (required). Bachelor's degree in a science-related field or prior laboratory technician experience (preferred). At least 1 year of laboratory experience (preferred). Understanding of basic chemical concepts and properties. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable with numerical data analysis. Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Able to work collaboratively within a team. Ability to stand and work on your feet for up to 7 hours per day. Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and projects. Willingness to follow ISO 9001 and 17025 standards. Schedule & Compensation Full-time schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:30 AM-5:00 PM; Friday 9:00 AM-3:00 PM.
Pay:
