Job Description

Lab Technician (Quality Control) 📍 Pacific, MO (On-site) 💲 $20-$21/hour (based on experience) Friday-Sun (Overnights) Looking for a hands-on lab role where your work actually matters? We're hiring a Lab Technician to join our team! In this role, you'll help ensure the quality and safety of products by running lab tests, supporting production, and working with a team that values accuracy and consistency. Whether you're coming in with lab experience or looking to grow your skills, this is a great opportunity to build hands-on experience in a stable, fast-paced environment. What You'll Do You'll spend your day working in both the lab and production environment, testing products and helping keep everything running smoothly.
A typical day may include:
Running microbiology tests (bacterial plating, micro plating) Performing pH, acidity, and basic chemical testing Conducting routine lab work like titrations and sample analysis Using common lab equipment (scales, pH meters, microscopes, infrared analyzers) Recording and documenting test results Making sure products meet quality and safety standards (GMP/FDA) Cleaning, sterilizing, and maintaining lab equipment Calibrating instruments to ensure accurate readings Occasionally assisting with new product development (R D) What We're Looking For We're open to a range of experience levels—if you've worked in a lab or recently completed relevant coursework, we'd love to hear from you.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience in a lab, manufacturing, food production, or similar environment OR coursework in biology, chemistry, or a related field Familiarity with basic lab testing (pH, titrations, or microbiology) is helpful Comfortable following procedures and documenting your work Strong attention to detail and reliability Nice to Have (But Not Required): Experience with GMP or FDA-regulated environments Hands-on experience with lab equipment and calibration Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Pacific, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.60 - $21.60/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
