Position Overview Job Title:
Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) (Also known as: Medical Lab Tech, Clinical Laboratory Technician, Laboratory Technician, Lab Tech) Seeking a Contract Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our team.
Schedule:
5x8 Variable Shift (typically 2:30 PM - 11:30 PM ) with flexibility to cover night shifts when needed. 36 guaranteed hours per week. Key Responsibilities Perform routine laboratory testing and specimen analysis. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment. Ensure accurate documentation of test results. Follow quality control and safety protocols. Collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient care. Requirements Active MLS (ASCP) Certification . Minimum 2 years of relevant laboratory experience . Strong communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to cover night shifts when needed. Education Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field. Certifications MLS (ASCP) Certification (Required) Preferred Qualifications Experience in a General Laboratory setting. Strong attention to detail.
