Job Description

Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Step into a vital position supporting diagnostic excellence as a Laboratory Technologist or Medical Lab Technician. In this contract-based opportunity, you'll contribute your clinical expertise to a collaborative lab environment where accuracy, efficiency, and dedication to patient care are valued.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT/MT) or equivalent Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited clinical laboratory science program Demonstrated proficiency in specimen collection, handling, and testing procedures Familiarity with laboratory information systems and electronic medical records Thorough understanding of quality control protocols and safety standards Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Capable of working independently and within interdisciplinary teams Experience in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting preferred
Responsibilities:
Perform specimen processing, analysis, and reporting in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, or transfusion services as assigned Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments to ensure accurate results Follow established quality assurance and quality control procedures in all laboratory tasks Document and communicate test findings promptly with clinicians and other healthcare professionals Maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements Monitor supply inventory and contribute to overall laboratory organization Uphold rigorous safety and infection control guidelines at all times Participate in continuing education and skill development initiatives Benefit from exposure to diverse diagnostic technologies and the opportunity to expand your professional expertise in a well-supported clinical environment.
